Mi Casita

Mi Casita

Franallen Acosta, a young Dominican American community organizer and entrepreneur, is betting his life on a visionary solution to the housing crisis in his distressed hometown of Lawrence, MA — "the immigrant city." Fran has recruited a stellar team to build affordable eco-housing with shipping containers, surrounded by food gardens. Could the rigors of business development, his run for City Council or his cooperative management style jeopardize his mission?
