Documents from Preparation for the Filming of "A Country Auction"

In preparing for the making of "A Country Auction" the four producers behaved more as ethnographers than filmmakers in that we discussed a length how to best convert our social science knowledge into a filmmaking methodology. To that end each of us wrote discussion documents which served to focus our attention, make tangible points of agreement and disagreement and make us a reflexive as possible before, during and after the sale. The following are a sampling of these discssion documents.
