Alex Goldblum

A lifelong native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Alex first started editing video at fifteen years of age. He is currently attending Temple University exploring the experimental, critical, political, and educational applications of film, video, and multi-media.

An avid traveler, he often combines his travels with film production. In the summer of 2005, Alex spent six weeks abroad in India where he wrote and published an interactive weblog, performed in an alternative Third Theater production entitled "Values Americans Live By," and produced a documentary on snake charmers living in rural Gujarat. In November 2005, Alex traveled to China where he screened the experimental high-definition video I Love You So Much at the Beijing Film Academy's 4th International Student Film & Video Festival.

His film, The Snake Charmer (2005), can be found at D.E.R.
