B-Line Films
In the summer of 2003, four friends headed to western Massachusetts with $250 and a camera to shoot their first film. Three years and many, many hours of shooting and editing later, that film, Buffalo Soldiers, premiered on the opening night of the New England Film and Video Festival. Since then, they have continued making films under the name B-Line films.
Peter Scheehle is a cinematographer and video editor, receiving a degree in film from the University of Iowa. He has shot and edited numerous educational and documentary video projects for broadcast. Buffalo Soldiers was his first feature as a director.
Allan Shinohara has a background in photography and graphic design, and studied art at the University of Massachusetts. He recently received an M.S. in advertising from Boston University. Buffalo Soldiers is his first film project.
Aoife Nugent is a graduate of the journalism program at the University of Massachusetts. Until recently, she was an Associate Producer for Northern Lights Productions in Boston, MA. Buffalo Soldiers was her first film as a producer.
Nozomi Ito is a researcher and translator, with a degree in Environmental Studies from Boston University, where she also is currently employed. Buffalo Soldiers was her first film.
