Documentary Educational Resources offers documentary movie production for educational, not-for-profit, and corporate clients. We primarily shoot our productions using Beta SP or DVCAM video suitable for television or closed-circuit broadcast. Our production services also include pre-production planning and budget analysis, funding options, distribution and marketing.
Recently, we have opened up our Avid post-production facilities for lease in-house. The cost for leasing space, office equipment and two Avid workstations is $1000 per week or $250 per day. The lease includes 500 square feet of office space, an Avid Composer 7.2, Avid MC Xpress 2.0, 6-plate 16mm Steenbeck, Sony BetacamSP PVW-2800, Sony DV/DVCAM DSR-11, JVC SVHS BR-5622V, Sony Umatic VO-9850, Sony 17" Studio Monitor, and Mackie 14-Channel audio mixer. In addition to production equipment, we also include high-speed broadband internet access, telephone, fax, and a copy machine.
