We are excited to announce that downloads of many of our films will be available through the Reframe Collection. The website is in its beta stage, so please bear with us while things are developed. Please be aware downloads are for private use only, classroom or other public screening requires the purchase of the DVD at the institutional price.
The DER video standard is NTSC, but most titles are also available in PAL for an additional charge. Our DVDs are playable in all regions. We have recently installed a shopping cart system for general DVD and VHS purchases shipped via UPS ground. For all other orders (expedited shipment, international, rentals, etc.), by email, phone, fax, or postal mail, please provide us with:
- Title of the film you would like to order
- Format you would like the film in
- Purchase or rental price listed in our catalog or web site
- Shipping address
- Shipping method (FedEx Overnight, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3rd Day Air, or UPS Ground)
- Billing address, if different from shipping address
- Payment information (i.e. credit card number, expiration date, card holder name)
- Institutional purchase order reference number, if applicable
- Email, fax, or postal address for confirmation notice of order

At DER, you can place your order by email, by telephone, or by fax. Payment options include credit card, wire transfer, money order, and personal check. In order to be billed, institutional orders must include a purchase order number. See below for details on each payment option.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept C.O.D. orders.
DER accepts Visa, American Express, and MasterCard credit cards. We will not bill your credit card until we ship your order. Partial orders are billed as each item is shipped.
Please be aware that once we receive credit card authorization, the funds will be reserved up to 30 days depending on the bank (please check the policy of your lending institution). Also, if you are paying with a debit card, please verify with your bank if there are limitations pertaining to daily withdrawls on your card. DER reserves the right to request additional identification. If this is needed, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone. Your order will be processed as soon as we receive the requested information by e-mail or fax.

We accept money orders in U.S. dollars from both United States and international banks. You will need to contact our sales department to complete your order.
We accept checks from U.S. banks and can accept checks from international banks if the payment is in U.S. funds and the order totals more than $100.00 (U.S. dollars). If the items in your order are in stock, your order will be shipped once we receive your check and after a waiting period of a minimum of ten business days.
We guarantee your satisfaction with all DER products. We only accept returns within 30 days due to defective or damaged product. Please follow the rental directions below for all returns.
The rental fee is for a one-time classroom viewing. An additional rental fee of one-half the origial rental fee will be charged for each additional classroom viewing. We allow a maximum of 30-day rental after postmarked date of delivery of 16mm and VHS media, unless otherwise specified. Please note there is an additional fee for late returns. Please note that rentals not returned after 90 days are subject to purchase price charges.

- Pack the rental items along with the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box, if you prefer.
- Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box.
- Leave the package for your mail carrier to pick up.

We offer Ground Service starting at $10.00, 2nd Day Air beginning at $15.00, and Overnight Delivery via FedEX starting at $30.00 within the US, depending on weight. During checkout the delivery charge will be confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.
For Saturday delivery, Overnight service must be requested. Saturday delivery is not available in all areas. DER cannot deliver on Sundays and major holidays. In addition, DER does not ship on Saturday, Sunday or major holidays. Overnight Delivery may not available in remote locations. International delivery charges, including to PR and USVI, are determined according to the weight of the package.
FedEX and UPS will make two attempts to deliver your merchandise and will leave a door hanger notifying you of the attempt. If the package is undeliverable after two attempts, the product will be returned to our warehouse. You will be credited for the price of the item, but you will not be credited for any shipping and handling charges you may have been charged. If you refuse delivery, a credit will be issued for the price of the product but not for shipping charges (if applicable). All credits will be applied to the payment method in the original order.
Our couriers do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please provide an alternative street address in the shipping information fields. We can ship to APO/FPO addresses using U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail. Please be aware that we cannot track this delivery method and therefore reserve the right to limit the amount that can be shipped via the US Postal Service. The U.S. Postal Service imposes weight and size limitations on shipments to some locations. Please consult your local post office for more information.
Through TNT Global Express, we quickly ship international orders just about anywhere in the world for reasonable rates. We will also ship to a customer's currior account if, included with your order, we are provided with the currior's name, phone number, and account number. DER ships products internationally via TNT 48-72 hours plus additional time for local customs clearance. Only in special circumstances do we ship international orders via the postal system. Delivery time depends on title availability and shipping address. Orders shipped to an address different from the billing address may be delayed for verification (usually one extra day). Because we must charge for each order shipped outside the U.S., we hold international orders until everything ordered is in stock. To request shipment of a partial order, please click here to e-mail Customer Service.
Our arrangements with TNT allow us to ship for extremely reasonable rates. DER charges you only what it costs us to deliver your order to your door. If an order is refused, we will credit for the cost of the product only, not the shipping charges.
It is the customers responsibility to contact the local customs and TNT regarding any additional and applicable customs, duties, or VAT charges. (Please note that some countries charge a minimal customs handling fee)
Because merchandise cannot be shipped to an APO or FPO address via our usual couriers, we will ship to such addresses using U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail. Mail addressed to military post offices overseas is subject to certain conditions or restrictions of mailing regarding content, preparation, and handling. Please consult your local postal office for more information. We reserve the right to limit the amount that can be shipped via the US Postal Service.
