Wander, Wonder, Wilderness is an Interactive Documentary project that explores the urban wilds and parks of Greater Boston. The multi platform approach inspires nature-based experiences an increasingly consumption-driven technological world. The essay film examines a range of ideas around landscape, evolving notions of wilderness, historical layers of human experience with nature and its resources, and personal meditations on the environment — illuminating the potential for restoring a symbiotic ecological balance. Companion components will include a mobile app that will allow users to generate their own responses to these urban wilds, and an interactive website, that will showcase participant content.
