Cedric Dupire was born in 1979. He attended studies of Conception and Realisation of Cultural Projects within the University of La Sorbonne. During this period, he made several experimental movies shot in Super 8. In 2003, he spent a year with Musafir in India. From this encounter came his first feature-length documentary film, Musafir, co-directed with Pierre-Yves Perez. In 2005, he traveled to Japan to explore the Japanese “underground”. He is currently working on a documentary on that theme. He also works as a field producer for World Event Village, a division of Sony.
