Yasmin Moll is a cultural anthropologist and documentary filmmaker. Her written work focuses on Islam and media in the Middle East. Her visual work has explored questions of gender, religion, and revolution. She is currently completing an ethnographic film on Nubian cultural activism in Egypt. Yasmin holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from New York University, an M.A. in Middle East Studies from the SOAS, and a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University.
