Whether traditionally nomadic or sedentary, each Indigenous community has a unique cultural journey specific to their historical and contemporary existence. Part of the fabric of many Indigenous cultures is the relationship to their ancestral homeland which has been severely altered by a continual colonial presence. It is with this knowledge that our representation on mapping locations of Indigenous peoples are approximations and not to be considered authoritative.
